FAQ

Does this product come with a mattress?

The Newton crib mattresses come with the Wovenaire® core and an outer cover. This is an extra cover for when the cover is soiled and needs to be laundered. It is interchangeable to the mattress type it is meant for use with.

Can I use this instead of a sheet?

While our covers are very soft, washable, and breathe-thru, most parents use a Newton Organic Cotton Sheet over the mattress cover.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The little nubby texture is perfect for keeping the fitted sheet from sliding off at 3am, and it truly feels as breathable as promised. I grabbed this as a spare for wash day, and it’s so easy to wipe clean that I’m not even stressed about leaks anymore.

George ★★★★★

The second one we bought as a backup has held up through dozens of washes and still snaps on tight without any bunching. It’s genuinely breathable too, which was the main reason I wanted this specific cover.

Lily ★★★★★

We’ve gone through a few covers and this one is the first that actually feels breathable while keeping the mattress totally dry after a leak. The fit is snug but still easy to pull off for washing, which matters when you’re changing it at 2 a.m.
